AcceptIn the early 1970s, Mr. Jawad embarked on a journey in
Bahrain’s bustling fish markets, meticulously selecting the freshest seafood to
cater to individual buyers. As the demand for premium seafood in the food and
beverage (F&B) sector surged, Mr. Jawad expanded his vision, supplying
high-quality seafood directly to hotels and restaurants.
With the industry flourishing, Delmon Fish continued to grow
and innovate. To address seasonal shortages of fresh prawns, Mr. Jawad made a
groundbreaking discovery by pioneering the freezing of fresh shrimp. This
innovative approach ensured a year-round supply of this delectable seafood,
paving the way for the establishment of Bahrain’s first seafood processing
facility. This facility not only allowed Delmon Fish to expand its product
range to include crabs and other premium seafood but also opened doors to
international markets.
Under the leadership of the second generation, Delmon Fish
embarked on a global expansion, importing Norwegian salmon, sea bass, oysters,
and other exquisite seafood from renowned sources. In 2019, the company further
enriched its offerings by introducing Japanese products, catering to the
growing demand for sushi-grade ingredients. By 2022, Delmon Fish had
diversified its portfolio even further, by including other essential food
products viz. Rice, Oil, etc. that are crucial for the F&B industry.
From a humble seafood trader to a market leader, Delmon Fish
remains steadfast in its commitment to quality, innovation, and reliability.
Guided by these unwavering principles, the company ensures that Bahrain’s
F&B sector has access to the finest seafood and culinary essentials, while
also providing households with premium seafood options. By serving both the
culinary industry and local families, Delmon Fish continues to support the
growth and success of Bahrain's vibrant food scene.
